Who We Are

EF Training & Consultancy is a family-based company that works closely with clients and candidates within the healthcare environment, whether that be a hospital or community.

All of our trainers are nurses who are currently practicing within the NHS, and who keep themselves updated by attending various courses and conferences. Our trainers reflect on their own practice to be able to delivery their training to the highest possible standard.

We use different types of learning techniques, including simulation, in order to practice new skills. We offer support outside of the classroom and to nurses in revalidation.

EF Training & Consultancy can offer you the knowledge and confidence so you are able to help others, either in a crisis or for long-term healthcare, and become safer and more confident.

Why EF Training and Consultancy?

My name is Elsa, and I am the founder and one of the trainers at EF Training & Consultancy. Firstly I am nurse, but secondly I am a trainer.

Having trained as an adult nurse in the NHS and then specialising in neo-natal nursing, I have spent over 20 years dealing with medical emergencies and acting as a first aider. As a dedicated trainer I use these first-hand experiences to teach and demonstrate how to deal with real-life situations.

My work as a neo-natal nurse involves caring for very premature and sick babies who need intensive care treatment. I still work in the NHS working with an amazing team – the NTS (Neonatal Transport Services). Our job is to stabilise the sickest of new-born babies and escalating their care to different hospitals around London. Most of these transfers are medical emergencies so I normally work under very stressful conditions.
My experiences working for the NHS mean that I am a whole-hearted believer that the first few minutes of any medical incident or accident are the most important. Knowing what to do and acting promptly can mean the difference between life and death. This is what prompted me to launch EF Training and Consultancy.

I am passionate about providing people with the confidence and knowledge to act promptly in an emergency - to be able to give a person in crisis the best chance of survival. Hopefully you will never need to use the safeguarding skills and knowledge you acquire. However, in the event that you do, can you really afford not to know what to do?

Learn and gain the confidence to act fast in a medical crisis.

Support and Encouragement

Learning new things can be hard but we aim to make it as enjoyable and fun as we can. We accept that each individual has different needs, so our trainers are there to support and encourage each and every learner.

Our trainers between them have over 40 years’ experience and they still work within the NHS or private Health sector and therefore, The knowledge is very much up to date.
